Enjoyed this one. I wonder if there is a parallel on the city level, or neighborhood level. Or if this line of thinking could be applied to the status quo bias we see around ped/bike infra. That one seems particularly applicable to me, given that car infra itself is ultimately "non-native".

Thanks Kurt! I like that framing — and maybe cars, like earthworms, have become so “naturalized” in cities that we forget they’re not native at all.
