This is timely. Only yesterday a colleague of my husband’s put his cv into AI. It was 15 minutes long (who is going to sit through that?). It was patronising, chunks were incorrect and the whole thing was in the past and sounded like an obituary.
Yes, it can spit back some pretty lengthy and repetitive stuff. Like asking a windy friend for advice who goes on, and on, and on…
What was his goal in using AI in the first place? I find the results are better the more specific my ask. But it still takes some cajoling…and results are mixed. A bit like collaborating with people! ☺️
Reminds me of a study done on older London taxi drivers. They found a lower incidence of cognitive decline (dementia and other issues) compared to genpop, and larger hippocampi / brain structures. So embracing tech might make life easier, but easier might not be better!
